About the workplace

The Education Administration is responsible for the education sector. The administration is divided into four operational areas, where you will be employed in Adult Education.

Adult Education in Ale municipality offers residents opportunities for education for newcomers who need to learn Swedish (SFI), basic and upper secondary adult education, vocational training within the Gothenburg region, commissioned training, as well as those who have the right to complete a high school diploma or improve their high school grades.

Job responsibilities

As a teacher at adult education, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting the teaching in Child and Leisure subjects. You will also follow up on students' APL placements (internships).

You work to shorten the path to the labor market and engage in the educational mission for students within Adult Education.

Qualifications

You have a teaching license and are a qualified teacher in Child and Leisure. We expect you to have experience in similar work from previous positions. If you are a trained vocational teacher, that is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a constructive attitude, who takes responsibility for their work and actively participates in the school's development efforts. We also expect you to have personal maturity.

You have good collaboration skills and work closely with colleagues in the team and with other colleagues in the organization. Pedagogical insight is something you possess.
